I create gentle, trauma informed spaces where women can reconnect with their bodies, steady their nervous systems, and come home to themselves.
Through yoga, mindfulness, Ayurveda, and nature-based practices, I support women’s mental health and emotional healing with care and compassion.

ABOUT ME
I’m Jess, a yoga and mindfulness teacher, Ayurvedic practitioner in training, mum of three, and the founder of Mindful Pathways, Bloom Wellbeing, and Outdoor Wellbeing NZ.
My work is rooted in a simple intention: to create safe, inclusive spaces where women can reconnect with their bodies, steady their nervous systems, and gently find their way back to themselves. I weave together yoga, mindfulness, Ayurveda, and nature-based practices to support mental health and emotional healing in ways that are trauma-informed, compassionate, and deeply human.
Why this work matters to me
I came to this work not just through study, but through lived experience.
Navigating endometriosis, postnatal depression, PTSD, and trauma has shaped the way I teach and hold space. These experiences have deepened my empathy and reinforced my belief that healing doesn’t come from fixing ourselves, it comes from feeling safe, supported, and gently met where we are.
This understanding sits at the heart of everything I offer.
My training & approach
My teaching is grounded in both modern science and ancient wisdom traditions.
I’m a graduate of the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP) with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield, and trained in Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness with David Treleaven. I’ve completed advanced yoga teacher trainings with Tiffany Cruikshank and Jason Crandell, and I’m currently studying to become an Ayurvedic Practitioner, deepening my understanding of holistic health and women’s wellbeing.
Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach, I support each person to move at their own pace, with choice, consent, and self compassion as guiding principles.
The spaces I create
My work lives across several offerings, all connected by the same intention.
Through Mindful Pathways, I offer free, trauma-informed mindfulness programmes for women in and beyond prison, work that sits very close to my heart.
My online studio, Bloom Wellbeing, provides accessible yoga and mindfulness practices that can be woven into everyday life, while Outdoor Wellbeing NZ brings people together in nature through experiences like sunrise yoga, ocean swims, and forest-based practices.
Each space is designed to feel welcoming, grounding, and supportive, whether online, indoors, or outdoors.
Who I love working with
I have a special interest in supporting women who are navigating stress, overwhelm, trauma, or major life transitions, and who are seeking gentle, embodied ways to reconnect with themselves.
You don’t need to be flexible, experienced, or “good” at mindfulness or Yoga. You’re welcome exactly as you are.
Beyond the mat
When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me outdoors, probably at the paddocks with my horses. Nature and horses are my greatest teacher and a constant source of grounding, perspective, and joy.
A final note
At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief:
healing happens through connection - to ourselves, to each other, and to the natural world.
If you feel drawn to this work, I’d love to connect, on the mat, online, or out in nature.
