Service Description

Shake the Dust - Forest Movement Journey with Mari Saturday 13th December at 10am Join us for Shake The Dust, a radically inclusive 60 minute movement journey held among the trees in a secluded forest space. With silent disco headphones on, we’ll drop into an immersive, shared experience, guided by Mari’s voice and a lovingly curated playlist, while staying deeply connected to our own inner rhythm. Each session unfolds through a poetic theme and weaves together: the grounding roots of yoga, the core fire of Pilates, the deep listening of somatics, shaking, jumping, squats, intuitive movement, and deep rest. It’s more than a workout, it’s a work-in. A space to move, sweat, unravel, resource, and return to the inherent wisdom of your body mind. Through rhythm and repetition, effort and stillness, we meet the nervous system’s extraordinary ability to adapt, reset, and restore. And as we move side by side, there’s a gentle reminder that connection matters too. In shared breath and rhythm, we might touch a sense of belonging that asks nothing of us except to show up exactly as we are. Expect joy, strength, and a liberating, medicinal movement practice - playful and light at times, and deeply freeing at others - held by nature, your own inner knowing, and the community moving alongside you. Her work is rooted in relationship with Earth, honouring the body as part of the living landscape we belong to. These threads shape how she offers practice — accessible, inspiring, grounded in shared humanity, and attuned to both individual needs and the wisdom that arises through connection and co-creation.
